I was shocked and disappointed to find out yesterday that Sonya had passed away. I commissioned a large painting from her about 25 years ago. I saw her work in her gallery one day in San diego. I did not know her very well but I loved her artistic style. Her painting still hangs on my living room wall. It is my favorite possession. My deep condolences to all that new and loved her.
